Patti Tutalo

Founder, CEO

Patti Tutalo, Founder and CEO has been transforming cultures through a systems approach for over 15 years. Whether it is one person or a large organization, she meets them where they are to instill last change.

She brings a unique perspective having served 20 years in the United States Coast Guard, earning an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, a Masters in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University and a Bachelors in Management from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, becoming a Reiki Master, facilitating workshops and consulting. An eclectic career and education combined with her own personal story of personal growth makes her relatable and well versed in her craft. 

Patti received the Department of Homeland Security Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award. She also received the prestigious Compass Award from the Coast Guard Women’s Leadership Initiative, the organization’s highest award. She has spoken at the World Maritime University in Sweden, Women Offshore Conference, Women in Defense Conference, Tall Ships America, and others. She was also a guest on the podcasts, Leadership is Tricky,  Marine Corps Women’s Initiative Team (WIT),  Virginia Women's Veterans Summit and the Center for Ocean Policy and Economics (COPE) podcast on psychological safety in the maritime industry.

Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Patti is an avid Steeler fan and is fluent in Pittsburghese.

She resides in northern Virginia with her husband and two children.

Monica Hernandez

Senior Consultant

Monica Hernandez brings years of leadership and experience in the maritime sector. She is a retired U.S. Coast Guard officer and also served in the U.S. Peace Corps, United Way and other non-profit organizations. She spent over eight years participating and leading the Women’s Leadership Initiative in the Coast Guard which involved developing junior and senior members in various areas of workforce management and improvement including in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion arena.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University.  She has been recognized throughout her career for her numerous skills including selection as the University of Michigan’s Volunteer of the Year for their College of Literature, Science and the Arts; selection to represent the Coast Guard with Leadership Miami - a multi-month program hosted by the Miami Chamber of Commerce; and appointment as National Chair to the Coast Guard’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. 

She resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband and two children.

Cassandra Willis

Senior Analyst

As a senior analyst on our team, Cassandra Willis brings her extensive experience to
help drive cultural transformation. She is an expert in designing and deploying
comprehensive surveys, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and delivering
actionable cultural assessments to guide clients toward meaningful change.
With 29 years of experience as an educator, Cassandra has a background in teaching
subjects such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, and physics. She has also served
as department chair and was honored with the prestigious Utah Technology and
Engineering New Teacher of the Year award for her contributions to the field.
Cassandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Saint Vincent College and a
Master’s in Education with a concentration in technology in the classroom from
American Intercontinental University.
Beyond her professional expertise, Cassandra is involved in her community as a
member and treasurer of the Mt. Pleasant Ruritan chapter. At home in Greeneville, TN,
she enjoys life on a farm with her husband and their array of farm animals. She is also
the proud mother of a son currently serving in the U.S. Army.

Brooklin Armaro

Business Operations Manager

"Brooklin Armaro brings over a decade of professional experience to our team, specializing in administrative support. Brooklin is a U.S. Coast Guard spouse, and her background includes serving as a team lead and systems analyst in corporate pharmacy, where she managed system training and policy development and supported various HR functions. 

 

Brooklin is the driving force behind our high-quality reports, presentations, and newsletters. She also manages our social media and marketing content while offering valuable insights into business strategy and brand development.

Brooklin currently lives in Key West with her husband and their dog.
